This Labs experiment shows how aggregated review signals could be modeled across platforms. Company names, grades, and review counts here are fictional or synthetic — not real rankings, not verified public records, and not suitable for hiring decisions.
Each company receives a composite score from 0–100 based on four weighted components, then mapped to a letter grade (A+ through F). The formula is deliberately simple and reproducible.
Average rating across all platforms, weighted by review volume per platform so a single low-traffic source can't skew the result.
Logarithmic scale up to ~2,000 reviews. Rewards companies with substantial public track record without letting national chains dominate.
Share of 1- and 2-star reviews plus formal BBB complaints. A company can have a high average rating and still lose points here if low-stars cluster.
Percentage of reviews the company has publicly responded to. Signals accountability and active reputation management.
